Our Approach

CBH combines Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) principles with clinical hypnosis. We target the thoughts, behaviours, and physiological responses associated with social anxiety.

1. Cognitive Restructuring

We identify and challenge unhelpful beliefs (e.g., "I must be perfect in social situations") and replace them with more balanced thoughts.

2. Behavioural Experiments

You gradually face feared social situations in a structured and supported way to disconfirm negative predictions.

3. Hypnotherapy

Hypnosis helps deepen the work by accessing the subconscious mind. In this relaxed state, we can:

  • Reinforce positive imagery and coping skills.

  • Reduce anxiety symptoms.

  • Increase confidence in social settings.

4. Relaxation and Self-Hypnosis

You learn to calm your body’s stress response, using techniques you can apply in real-world situations.
