Crowded Urban Scene

About Me...

My name is Kylha Boshoff

I specialise in working with people from alternative communities because it’s a world I genuinely understand and feel part of. Throughout my life — both personally and during my training — I noticed how often people who express themselves outside of the mainstream are overlooked or misunderstood when it comes to mental health. Struggles with anxiety, low mood, or identity are sometimes dismissed as “part of the aesthetic”, rather than recognised as real experiences that deserve support and care.

I know how it can feel to live slightly outside the lines of what society expects. Many people who identify with alternative scenes don’t feel comfortable in traditional therapy environments — they can feel overly clinical, rigid, or disconnected from real life. I believe therapy should be the opposite of that.

My philosophy is simple: therapy should feel like a safe place to land. A space where you can be completely yourself, without judgement, without pressure to conform, and without having to tone down who you are. Hypnotherapy and therapeutic work aren’t about changing your identity — they’re about helping you understand your mind, work through anxiety or limiting beliefs, and build a healthier relationship with yourself.

Mental health support shouldn’t feel like a burden or something reserved for when things become unbearable. I believe it can be part of a balanced, healthy lifestyle — something that helps you grow, gain clarity, and move toward a brighter mental future, while still embracing the style, creativity, and individuality that make you who you are.
